Felicity hummed to herself as she walked into the garden, the bounce in her step had come back, though she had yet to hit mania again, so she figured that it must be a good thing. What she wasn't sure about, however, was this group project thing. The astronomy professor has assigned a massive star chart that needed to be completed, and in seemingly recognizing that it was too much work for the little time of school they had left, had put them into pairs to do it. Felicity had been matched up with Adel DeCarlo, a boy in her year, but a Ravenclaw, and someone who looked on the more alternative side.

He had long hair and a lot of piercings, and that was something Felicity could get behind, she herself had alternated hair colours to whatever obnoxious hues she could find in potion format. She had stuck with the blue a long while for her standards, but she liked it, she felt it matched her eyes. Felicity plopped down in the grass, she had suggested that they meet here to get the stupid project done and over with, it was too nice to be stuck up in the library, there was no way she'd be able to focus, this nice sun and pleasant heat was great for now. Felicity would be sick of it come July, but for now it was great.

Sprawling out on her stomach, she bent her knees to put her feet in the air, the pale skin on her legs catching the light. Felicity lightly shook her head, always white, she was... As she spread out the assignment she heard the sound of footsteps. A shadow fell over her and Felicity tipped her head back to look at...

Adel really, truly despised working with others. He was an anti-social brat, after all. So, upon being paired with this unknown Griffyndor, he had several choice words for the Astronomy professor. Words that of course ended him with a weekend of detention; and didn't even get him out of the group project. He could totally finish this on his own. It wouldn't be hard. Or at least, that's how he saw it.

His long black hair pulled back into a ponytail, the lanky teen walked forward to Felicity, hovering over her. His thin arms were crossed over his chest, and he raised a delicate, pierced eyebrow.
"So how do we start this thing?" he asked with a sigh.

Felicity smiled up at her partner in spite of his obvious disdain at the idea of working with her- she was used to people not exactly liking her, it only fazed her when she was depressive, which wasn't now. Honestly, when she was in her right mind, she couldn't give less of a damn what anyone thought of her, even less so when she was manic. Adel De Carlo's thoughts on her person didn't matter, they just had an assignment to do together, and then they could be on their way. If they became friends, great, but if not, then they wouldn't have to talk ever again if he didn't want to.

"Well, first off pull up some grass," said Felicity, patting the ground across from her, not bothering to transfer from the position on her stomach, "it looks easy, just time-consuming." Of course, Felicity often started projects only to find they were more difficult than anticipated, but star charts were pretty straightforward.

Adel rolled his eyes slightly, but he took a seat next to her, tear at the grass a little. He looked over slightly, only just now actually taking the time to look her over. Bright blue hair, matching blue eyes, loud clothes. She was kind of cute, too. He smirked faintly. Hey, even if he didn't like people that much, he could appreciate a pretty girl.

"Alright, miss blue, what's our next act of war?" he asked, wresting his elbow on his knee and tucking his chin on his hand.

Felicity lightly swung her sneakers back and forth in the air, smiling slightly as Adel complied and plopped down in the grass across from her, for whatever reason this seemed like it might go a lot better than what she had initially thought. Her Ravenclaw partner might seem momentarily disgruntled, but with her impulsiveness and lack of giving a damn she figured she'd get some sort of fun out of the alternatively-dressed teen. Hardly a minute in and he had already dubbed her "Miss Blue," good things usually came from interactions with nicknames assigned.

"Um, just labeling the shit I guess," said Felicity, not bothering to watch her language, something told her Adel wouldn't care.

Adel shrugged his shoulders, leaning over the parchment and pulling his auto-ink quill out of his bag. "Alright, easy enough." he replied with a yawn, running a hand through his hair to free it from the hair-tie. He looked at her again, biting his lip a little. "....those shorts are really, really dull, y'know. Kinda clash with your hair."

Felicity brought out a quill, dipping the end into a pot of ink. She had selected bright purple, the standard black she found was much too dull. She first labeled Gamma Andromedae, it was the first she could remember because of the colours. She labeled another in the Andromeda constellation before Adel spoke, she looked up at him, bemused. "Is that supposed to be some sort of ploy for me to take them off?" Felicity said teasingly, wiggling her eyebrows.

"Of course not," he replied, looking mildly offended. "If I wanted your pants off, I could definitely come up with someone better than that. I'm a sex god, honey."
He gave her a crooked grin. "Just making conversation, Blue."

At that, Felicity couldn't help but laugh, guys were odd that way, it seemed the more they bragged about that kind of thing the worse they actually were at getting laid. Though at any rate, there was something to be said about a guy that could make her laugh. "Of course you are," said Felicity, her eyes still sparkling with the ghost of her laugh as she labeled another star. "Well, don't just sit there, you can label some of these too, you know."

"Alright, alright," he laughed a little himself. Teasing pretty girls was too much fun, in his opinion. Leaning over the parchment with her and hovering his quill over it, he bit his lip slightly and began scrawling labels, in a quick and decisive, but very sloppy, manner.

Felicity playfully rolled her eyes, though he might have had a bit of an attitude at first, Adel seemed to be relaxing a bit. She certainly appreciated the sense of humour, it wasn't shared by many Ravenclaws, or at least the ones that she had come across. Always so uptight and serious, a good number of them seemingly unable to take a joke. "You know," said Felicity, looking up from the chart, "if you're calling me Blue, you ought to have a nickname, too."

"Nickname?" he raised an eyebrow delicately, scoffing a little. "Please, princess, I am the king of nickname giving. Nothing you got can even compare." Of course, he was only teasing - but to be honest he was a little curious as to what she would say.

"Oh really now?" said Felicity, utilizing her unique talent again and wiggling her eyebrows. She had always been fairly expressive, easily able to wink, make faces, and she could even wiggle her ears. "If you're the king of nicknames I'd have thought you'd come up with something more unique than 'Blue' for me," said Felicity, scrawling down another label. She fell quiet, giving Adel the opportunity to respond to her own teasing, as well as buying time for herself to come up with a good nickname.
